Las pruebas de pretemporada seguirán teniendo lugar en Barcelona el próximo invierno.
A menudo hay sugerencias de que algunos equipos preferirían que la carrera previa a la temporada sea limitada en un país con un clima más cálido y más predecible.
Pero los jefes de equipo se reunieron en Paul Ricard y decidieron que si las tarifas del circuito no aumentan, Barcelona seguirá siendo el anfitrión de las pruebas de invierno.
«La decisión no se ve afectada por la pregunta sobre si el Gran Premio de España se llevará a cabo en 2020», dijo el corresponsal de Auto Motor und Sport Tobias Gruner.
