Los organizadores de Sochi todavía se resisten al atractivo de una carrera nocturna.
Desde el primer GP de Rusia moderno en 2014, ha habido informes que sugieren que el recinto de Sochi podría actualizarse con proyectores tipo Singapur.
«Las carreras se ven bastante interesantes bajo las luces, pero el GP de Rusia es espectacular a la luz del día», dijo Alexi Titov, jefe del promotor Rosgonki, a la agencia de noticias Tass.
«Por supuesto, hemos analizado las opciones, pero hasta ahora no planeamos celebrar el gran premio con iluminación artificial».
Eso podría deberse a que los días de Sochi en la F1 están contados.
El Daily Mail informa que el presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, está considerando trasladar la carrera de Fórmula 1 del país a San Petersburgo para 2021.
