El futuro de Valtteri Bottas no está claro.
El finlandés está disfrutando de un aumento en la forma personal este año, y actualmente parece ser el único competidor real de Lewis Hamilton para el título.
Pero después de reemplazar a Nico Rosberg en 2017, actualmente tiene un contrato de un año.
«No hemos hablado ni una palabra sobre el futuro», dijo Bottas a la emisora finlandesa C More en Canadá.
El jefe de Mercedes, Toto Wolff, está de acuerdo: «No hay noticias al respecto.
«Valtteri ha estado conduciendo muy bien y ha sido bastante increíble ver cómo ha mejorado sus actuaciones desde el año pasado.
«Es importante ahora que mantiene su nivel actual para que podamos comenzar a discutir el futuro», agregó Wolff.
