Daniel Ricciardo dice que agradece la llegada de un nuevo compañero de equipo para 2020.
Renault ha decidido expulsar a Nico Hulkenberg y reemplazarlo con Esteban Ocon, el actual piloto de reserva de Mercedes que seguirá siendo administrado por Toto Wolff el próximo año.
«Es una gran oportunidad para mí trabajar con un fabricante tan grande que ha ganado títulos en el pasado», dijo Ocon a Canal Plus.
El compañero de equipo de 2020 de 22 años, Ricciardo, dijo que le dará la bienvenida a Ocon a Renault.
«Es joven y hambriento, especialmente después de un año sin correr», dijo sobre el ex piloto de Force India.
«Va a estar decidido y querer recuperar el tiempo perdido. Estoy seguro de que Esteban es probablemente mejor que yo en algunas áreas, por lo que es una oportunidad para aprender y mejorar».
